Honestly, we could live in the fitting room of the General Store in Venice.
We adore this place so much, each time we see it somewhere on Instagram our heart skips a beat. Styled to perfect imperfection and curated with most gorgeous pieces one can find in the world of local, handmade designs and vintage goods, General Store Venice in LA is our favorite when looking for unique gifts. For our loved ones, but also for ourselves, naturally. Established in 2009 in San Francisco (Outer Sunset neighborhood) by Serena Mitnik-Miller and Mason St. Peter, General Store opened its second outpost in Venice in 2012, owned by Hannah Henderson and John Moore. Hannah’s feel for beautiful things, especially for vintage items, is like her sixth sense. We regularly find ourselves envying her vintage Levi’s 501 collection. From beautiful ceramics to jewelry to embroidered dresses to Turkish towels and so much more, we highly recommend putting this gem of a shop on your LA-must-take-picture-there-must-shop-there list.
